Regathering Information & FAQ's

What safety precautions will the church be taking?

To ensure a safe on-campus visit for everyone, you’ll see some new and intentional changes to our weekend services. We will have plenty of extra masks on hand, as well as hand sanitizer, if you need some. All designated entry doors will be opened so you won’t need to touch any surfaces. Sermon notes and communion elements will not be passed out, but instead will be located in the lobby for you to pick-up. In addition, within the Worship Center there will be limited capacity and physically distanced seating.

Will West Valley continue to have online services?

Yes, we will! If you are not comfortable joining us on-campus or you are unable to come for health reasons, we invite you to join us online.

Will there be services for Kids (Nursery, Preschool & Elementary)?

Yes, we have services for Nursery-Elementary during the 9am and 10:30am Sunday services.  Check in at the Kids Welcome Center in the gym lobby. West Valley Kids will continue to meet online every Wednesday night for Kids Club until June 16. Click here for more information. Kids are welcome at all services.

Will there be services for Student Ministry (Middles School and High School)?

Yes, West Valley Student's Ministry (The Underground) meets in person every Wednesday night for Worship and Small Groups from 6:30-8:30pm and meets in-person on our campus on Sunday evenings for "Shindigs", click here for more information. Teens are welcome at all services.

What will the Worship Center capacity be for each service?

The Worship Center capacity is in compliance with current county guidelines.

Who will be allowed to attend service?

Everyone is welcome to join us for weekend services. However, it’s up to each and every one of us to keep each other safe. If you are feeling sick, have been exposed to someone who is sick, or for other health reasons are unable to come, we kindly ask you to stay home. You can always worship with us online.

Will masks/face coverings be required?

While you are at any of our indoor locations, we ask that masks/face coverings be worn while you are moving around and as much as possible while you are sitting. You can love others by wearing a mask and maintaining the suggested physical distancing guidelines with anyone who isn’t part of your household.

Will there be communion?

We will continue to have communion every weekend, but it will no longer be passed out during service. Communion elements will be available for you to pick up on your way in.

How can I give my tithes & offering?

We are encouraging everyone to continue to give online at wvcch.org/giving. For those of you with physical gifts, we have offering stands just inside the Worship Center for you to drop off your tithes and offerings.
