The WVCC Prayer Chain has existed for over 20 years to strengthen and encourage our members in prayer. |
If anyone in our church or community is in need of prayer, a request can be made by:
1. Filling out the prayer request information on the back of attendance slip passed out in the church service.
2. Phone in your request to the church office at (818) 884-6480 or Melba Sanchez (see church directory for #). The prayer chain begins at 7 pm. Urgent requests are taken at any time.
3. Click on the blue link below.
"And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and request. With this in mind be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints." Ephesians 6:18,
"Click here to send a prayer request or praise report to the West Valley Christian Church Prayer Team!"
Here's how it works:
Christians, who have a gift to pray for others, agree to take telephone calls for prayer requests to pray and pass the request on to the person below them on the list. We believe that God wants us to pray to Him and when everyone is praying simultaneously for the same requests, there is tremendous power.
Prayer requests may come from anyone for anyone. They may be for personal needs, spiritual needs, for those in hospitals, those facing surgery, or for power over the enemy.
Basic rules are few and simple: to pray immediately when you receive requests by telephone; to pass on requests to the next person on the chain; and to keep it confidential. Bare essentials are communicated in requests and all answers to prayers are passed on for the encouragement of all those on the prayer chain.
We go before the Lord to pray for other people to the Glory of God. When people start praying together in one accord to our Father in Heaven, in the Name of Jesus, things begin to change.
Any church member may be on the prayer chain. If you would like to be involved with this powerful ministry, call the church office at (818) 884-6480.
In all situations of our lives, we should go to the Lord in prayer.
As his children, we can be confident that he will hear us!
"This is the confidence we have in approaching God:
that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.
And if we know he hears us-whatever we ask-
we know that we have what we asked of him."
